Key Update

The PM Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (PMDDKY) was introduced to support agricultural development in 100 selected districts across India. The Union Cabinet approved the scheme on 16 July 2025, and it was formally launched on 11 October 2025. Its first anniversary falls on 11 October 2026.

The programme brings together existing Central schemes, State schemes and private-sector participation to support locally relevant agricultural interventions. District Action Plans are used to identify needs and establish measurable targets.
